Internal Note Sensor for Intake-Success Feedback to Drive Team

This year's game pieces are "notes" - half pound foam rings with a 12 inch diameter.

Our robot "Tri-Tone" intakes these rings directly from the floor under its bumper, and launches them into two different scoring areas.

We have a tank-drive base with extra large 8" pneumatic wheels to lift the frame clear of game pieces on the ground.

Our programming team is hard at work developing vision-based intake and shooting systems, using color detection for the rings and reading "AprilTags" on the field to direct the shooter.

This season our team has been focusing on getting the robot out to either a practice field or a practice competition every Saturday since Feb 3rd until our main competition in April.

Come watch us compete at Williams Arena at the Minnesota 10,000 Lakes Regional April 4th-6th!
